In order to systematize my family information I have used a registration programme called Legacy.
For my own family I have mainly used The State Archives
and The Faroese Archives for my wife's family.
I also have access to old documents in the family's possession.
Old documents
Regrettably, Old documents are often thrown away when old people in the family move or die.
My mother and father retained some old documents mainly about my father.
I have scanned some of the documents and they can be seen by accessing the menu "My father".
